I have always been driven by creativity. From my early years on
I could often be found doodling. There was never any doubt in my
mind what path I would pursue.
My life has been one art adventure after another since graduating
with a B.A. Honors in Graphic Design from Norwich School of Art
(East Anglia, UK). My experience ranges from designing museum
I find that art brings emotions to the surface which are
expressed through my body of work- -whether it be a logo
design or portraiture.
The collaborative process of working with others to create art in
any form is something I find extremely enjoyable.
Since 2001 I have lived and designed in the USA with my
husband Mark.

I’ve had an interest in photography since I was a teenager
dabbling with an old Kodak film camera in northeast Ohio near
the Grand River. Fast forward a few years to the late eighties
with marriage and children arriving, so did a new camera -
a Minolta Maxxum 35mm. It goes without saying that most of my
photos at the time were family related, but I had the opportunity
to teach myself about photography. I enjoy the use of light,
composition and subject matter to set the the theme of a photograph.
Keeping it simple as well allows the viewer to concentrate on the
subject without distraction by extraneous elements in the frame.
My love of nature’s beauty along with travel, old cars, old trains and
American history fuel my passion for photography. The use of digital
media allows me to express myself even more creatively. With digital
manipulation, I am able to amplify my subjects bringing out
characteristics or details that might otherwise be overlooked thus
rendering images which cause the viewer to stop and think about
what they see.
It is my hope that through my creativity and attention to detail,
I can further the experiences of those who contemplate the images
I produce for many years to come.
